Mentoring Workshop in Kentville

The Kings County Federation of Agriculture, sponsored by ThinkFarm, will host a Mentoring Workshop to bring together established farmers who are interested in the next generation of farmers and what they can do to help them.

The Workshop will take place on 22nd March at the Kentville Agricultural Centre, Cornwallis Room, from 8:30 to 12 noon. Participation is open to everyone in agriculture and there is no fee.

Established farmers and beginning/transitioning farmers are invited to the Workshop to identify the needs of KCFA’s farming community in order to develop a network of mentors and mentees.

Experienced speakers will provide tips on how to be a good mentor and a good mentee while break-out groups will allow participants to feel comfortable in mentoring situations. The Workshop will begin the process of building a community of experienced farmers willing to serve as mentors in Kings County.
