FREE Energy Crops Workshop – Windsor, NS

Are you interested in growing energy on  your farm? There are  opportunities emerging in Nova Scotia for the production  of hay,  speciality grasses (e.g., Miscanthus),  and short rotation  woody crops (e.g., hybrid poplar) for sale to energy  producers. Attend  THINKFARM’s free information session on February  19 to learn more about  whether energy crop production would be a good fit for  your farm.

The information session will take place twice at the Super 8 Motel in Windsor on February 19:

  • 1-4 pm
  • 6-9 pm

NS Farm Innovation Program

Programs and Business Risk Management is pleased to announce that we are now accepting proposals with applications for the following Innovation programs for the 2014-15 program year:

1)     Research Acceleration

2)     Farm Innovation

3)     Agri-Products Innovation and Commercialization
